This year has been good for Green Tara children in the northern part of India.
We have managed to secure the School Fees for a year for kids going to Touch Wood school near Sharsdhara Road Dehra Dun.

We have managed to raise enough money to buy school Furniture at the Nagal School in Rajpur. The Kids are happy they no longer have to sit on the cold floor.
We are now raising money to buy a School Uniform as the Winter is coming and being so close to the mountain, the winter can be a wee bit harsh so the Head Teacher asked us if we can provide the children School Jumpers and Coats.

As well as Children, we have also started helping out the Older people living in the area. The older people we help, they are mostly very old and have not much support coming from any where so we have decided to take a next step for caring for them by giving them monthly pocket money of Rs 1000 each month.
Its a great pleasure to serve the Community in Northern India by the Community of Himalaya in Edinburgh.
